Moving through the lobby and later into Madera Restaurant, I found myself soaking in once again the familiar rich wood finishes, vaulted ceilings, carefully selected artwork, natural stone, and abundant light reflect a distinctly Northern Californian sensibility. Nothing feels imposed upon the landscape; rather the interiors appear to draw inspiration directly from it.
Even the restaurant’s name Madera, serves as a subtle reminder of the role wood plays throughout the experience.
